US Passport Renewal

How?

Juli Franco Consulting personally manages the process for you, meaning that you don’t have to travel to the US Embassy in Bogotá or do any of your own paperwork.

We take care of the form(s), the payment(s), and the organization.

All you have to do is meet with Juli or a member of the concierge team so that you can give us your original passport, sign the necessary form(s), and take new passport pictures. We will go with you to ensure that the images meet the necessary requirements.

Within a matter of weeks you will have a brand new US Passport ready for use.

What Are the Conditions?

Your original passport needs to be expired/expiring and in good condition, meaning:

  • No missing/detached/damaged pages (no rips, holes, or tears)

  • No visible or significant ink/fire/water damage (even if it looks like it “dried fine”)

  • The biographic/photo page is fully intact

  • The chip still works and hasn’t been physically compromised

  • No evidence of tampering

  • No general structural damage (incl. peeling, fraying, or warping)

Renewing your US Passport abroad can be a headache in more ways than one.

Between the paperwork, making an appointment at the US Embassy, coordinating travel to get there, and going through the bureaucratic motions, it can be a costly, time-consuming, and generally confusing process.

However, with our US Passport Renewal service, we make it as easy and convenient as possible.

Timing

The best time to start this process is 7-8 months before expiry.

When this time comes, please fill out our US Passport Renewal form and we will contact you within 48 working hours to get things started.

From start to finish, the passport renewal process takes around 5 weeks. Please note that you will not have possession of your passport during this time.

Once the process is complete, Juli or a member of the concierge team will personally deliver your new passport to you for maximum security.
